Games

Games and strategy go hand in hand. A careful look at the games we play (and the games we don't play) can tell us a great deal about the nature of strategy. The concept of a game is multi-dimensional: chess, football, game theory, language games - all fall under this general umbrella. As we probe more deeply into the nature of the game we encounter many of the elements - for example, freedom, constraints, rationality, chance, and play - that also inform our investigation into the nature of strategy.
