Shaping the Future. Together.

Global Health

Every year, about 250 million people become infected with malaria, causing nearly 1 million deaths. Tuberculosis affects 9 million people annually, with 1.6 million people dying from it. Organizations working to combat these and other diseases face complex questions:

  • How can new drugs, vaccines, and treatments be developed as quickly as possible to help address the diseases of the developing world?

  • How can health systems be developed and optimized to expand health coverage at lower costs?

  • How can partnerships be improved to overcome the greatest challenges of global health, such as the eradication of malaria?

  • How can we ensure equity of access to the right treatment and medication?

BCG’s global health experts leverage a strong regional and international network to share learning and innovation from both the developed and the developing world. Our local experts provide specific insights into the challenges in each region and health system.
