Shaping the Future. Together.

Poverty & Hunger

Despite strenuous global efforts to fight poverty and hunger, more than 40 percent of the world's population is still living on less than two dollars a day, and undernutrition remains a leading cause of mortality among children under the age of five. To address these issues, several critical questions must be answered:

  • How can collaboration between independent aid organizations and governments be improved?

  • How do aid organizations need to be designed to ensure the highest effectiveness and efficiency?

  • How can funds be allocated to the highest-impact projects?

  • How can the effectiveness of activities be assessed?

  • How can operations on the ground become more effective?

BCG's work, which targets poverty and hunger reduction, spans the globe, covering both developed and developing countries. We work on a variety of topics, from disaster relief to long-term development. More
