BCG participates in a number of the Forum's topic- and geography-based communities, which bring together member and partner companies, as well as leaders from civil society, for more informal interactions.
BCG partners have been chosen for the Forum of Young Global Leaders, a community of exceptional people under 40 years old who share a commitment to shaping the world's future.
BCG has also had 18 consultants chosen as Global Shapers, a diverse network of people from business, government, civil society, science, art, and sports who are between 20 and 30 years old and who share a desire to build a more sustainable, peaceful, and inclusive world.

The firm is also represented on the Forum's Global Agenda Councils (GACs)—select, invitation-only groups that focus on key topics in the global arena. In addition to sitting on GACs that study issues such as emerging multinationals, social media, and skills and talent mobility, BCG has also supported the Japan GAC through pro-bono work on the Rebuild Japan Initiative following the 2011 earthquake and tsunami.
