By participating in the Associate Abroad, Ambassador, or Experience programs, you will be fully integrated into your host office, gaining valuable insights into the way business is done in a different environment and sharing learnings from your home office. Because these options are designed for a longer-term stay abroad, you will have the chance to develop your business skills in a new environment and truly experience new cultures.
At the end of your stay abroad, you return to your home office with strong networks of BCG friends and colleagues from around the world, as well as rich, useful experiences that you can share and apply. Many consultants say their time working in these programs has been one of the highlights of their career.
Associate Abroad and Ambassador Programs
These programs are designed for outstanding performers with requisite BCG experience. If you qualify for one of these programs, you select the offices you are most interested in, and we do our best to place you in one of them.
Experience Program
As a participant in an Experience program, you would spend time working in a region with strong business growth, helping your host office to serve local clients. Of course, all mobility programs need to accommodate BCG's business needs, and the good news is that new opportunities continue to open up as we expand our global footprint in locations such as Morocco, South Africa, and Israel. We are also launching new programs that focus specifically on rapidly growing markets like Brazil, India, Greater China, Eastern Europe, and Turkey.
