Our recruiting process consists of two interview rounds, built up out of different components. It is designed to get to know you and evaluate your consulting skills, but also to give you a clear idea about BCG and consulting.
The first interview round, which usually takes place on a Friday afternoon, consists of two case interviews and an online case. The second round, which takes place on a Thursday or Friday one or two weeks after your first round, is built up out of two additional case interviews and a written assignment. During the written assignment you have two hours to answer a number of questions based on the data provided. After two hours you present your findings.
The case interviews are conducted by BCG consultants that are trained to extract the relevant information from the dialogues. The cases are based on real projects that they have worked on. This will give you an insight into what it is like to work at BCG, and allow us to focus on how you would solve practical business problems.
