Asian Initiative

Through our Asian Initiative, we actively work to recruit, develop, and retain Asian talent for BCG's offices in the United States. The goal of the initiative is to build awareness of BCG and consulting in general among professionals of Asian origin. Within BCG, initiative members participate in office-specific activities focused on the mentorship and development of our Asian consulting staff.

Moving forward, the Asian Initiative will focus on three key themes:

  • Recruiting, developing, retaining , and building affiliation among the right mix of consultants and associates
  • Finding and creating opportunities to build on the strengths and uniqueness of Asian professionals through client service
  • Building a broader diversity community by partnering with the Black/African American, Hispanic, LGBT, and Women’s Initiatives

Building on the launch efforts by Rohan Sajdeh in 2006, this initiative is being restructured within the ethnic diversity program led by Reggie Gilyard, BCG Partner & Managing Director. The restructuring plan includes additional resources becoming more intimately involved in the support of this initiative.  Jeanne Kwong Bickford, Rohan Sajdeh, and Andrew Gutierrez are BCG Partners and members of the Asian Initiative.  Their profiles can be referenced below.
