Patrick Dupoux

Senior Partner & Managing Director

Dueling with Lions

Competition has finally arrived in Africa, explains BCG’s Patrick Dupoux, but players need to be selective and maintain a long-term view to succeed over both MNCs and local competitors.

Patrick Dupoux is a core member of the Energy and Industrial Goods practices at The Boston Consulting Group. He leads the firm’s Global Advantage practice in BCG’s Western Europe, South America, and Africa region.

Patrick joined BCG in 2001. He has supported many Moroccan and multinational companies in North Africa across a range of industries, including industrial goods, consumer goods, energy, and agriculture.

Patrick helped open BCG's Casablanca office in 2009 and today heads the firm’s development in North and West Africa. He continues to lead research on the emergence of Africa and the ways in which companies can succeed in the context of Africa’s broader plans for expansion.

Before joining BCG, Patrick worked for Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux in Argentina.
