Brad Baker

Principal, Associate Recruiting Director

Brad Baker is a Principal and also the Recruiting Director for the Associate cohort for the Toronto office. Brad first joined BCG as a Summer Associate in the Toronto office in 2006 and returned as a Full-Time Associate in July 2007. Brad's project experience within BCG has been focused in consumer goods and large scale transformation and re-organization efforts. Prior to joining BCG, Brad worked with Canadian brand management and direct marketing firms, representing a number of global consumer brands. Brad graduated from the Honours Business Administration program at the Richard Ivey School of Business where he was an Ivey Scholar, and earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management where he graduated with honors, Beta Gamma Sigma. Brad was also a member of the varsity squash team at the University of Western Ontario.

Danielle Amirault

Associate, Toronto Queen's Captain

Danielle Amirault joined BCG's Toronto office as an Associate in September 2014 after completing a summer internship in 2013. She has spent time in the Consumer/Retail, Financial Services, and Industrial Goods practices. She has had multiple experiences on purchasing-related cases, for both a retailer and a consumer goods organization. Danielle graduated from Queen's University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2014. Prior to her summer at BCG, Danielle completed two internships with State Street Corporation in their Alternative Investment Services and Derivatives groups.

Michael Anstey

Principal, Consultant Recruiting Director

Michael Anstey is a Principal in the Toronto office and a Core Member of BCG’s Health Care Practice Area. He has deep expertise in the sector through his experience in research and academia, venture capital investing, and strategy consulting. During his time at BCG, he has served clients throughout North America, Europe, India, and Japan. Prior to joining BCG, Michael was an Investment Analyst and Kauffman Fellow at Oxford Capital Partners, a UK-based venture capital firm that specializes in investing in early-stage science and technology businesses. Before Oxford Capital, Michael was an academic researcher in the field of neuroscience at Oxford and Cambridge Universities. He has authored papers published in a number of leading academic journals including Current Biology and Science. Michael graduated with a 1st Class Honors degree in Biology from Queen’s University, Canada and earned his PhD in Zoology from Oxford University where he was the Hope Scholar.

Souvik Adhya

Consultant, Queen's MBA Lead

Souvik Adhya is a Consultant in the Calgary office of The Boston Consulting Group. Prior to joining BCG, Souvik worked in the energy industry across 4 continents and 12 countries with Schlumberger Limited. In his most recent role in South and East Africa, he spearheaded the development and deployment of a new management systems to help improve service quality performance. His other roles covered Business Strategy, Operations Management and Field Engineering over a span of 7 years. Souvik is professionally trained in Change Management and Lean methodologies in Operations Management. Souvik is a MBA graduate with specialization in Finance and class valedictorian from the Queen’s School of Business in Canada, prior to which he completed his undergraduate degree in Instrumentation Engineering from I.I.T. Kharagpur in India. Outside of work, Souvik is passionate about soccer and commercial aviation. He is a keen travel enthusiast and together with his partner has travelled 41 countries across the globe to date.

Jette Tam

Recruiting Associate

Jette joined BCG Toronto in September 2013 as a Recruiting Associate, and currently looks after the recruiting efforts of Associate and Consultant candidates in Ontario. Previous to joining BCG, Jette was a Talent Acquisition Specialist with Michael Page International, recruiting for a variety of different clients in consumer goods, retail, industrial, and professional services across Canada. During her time with Michael Page, Jette has experience in hiring contract roles to executive level positions. Jette holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts double majoring in Employment Relations and English from University of Toronto, and continued to obtain a Masters in Human Resources and Industrial Relations (MIRHR), also from University of Toronto. In her spare time, Jette loves to travel, listen to music, and discover new restaurants.

Lawrence Kuo

Recruiting Partner

Lawrence Kuo is a Partner in BCG’s Toronto office. He joined the firm as an Associate in 1999 after working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at a startup in the Silicon Valley. Since joining BCG, Lawrence has developed strategies to enhance growth, drive operational efficiency and restructure organizations. He has also managed client relationships across telecom, media, consumer goods and pharmaceuticals. In 2007, Lawrence left BCG and joined Rogers Communications. Lawrence first joined the strategy group at Rogers as the Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Planning. In this role, he worked to develop and implement key strategic initiatives across the Wireless, Cable and Media companies. Lawrence subsequently held the position of Vice President, Video Product Management where he was responsible for delivering $1.9B in video revenue. After spending almost 6 years with Rogers, Lawrence returned to BCG as a Principal in 2013. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Queen’s University, a Master of Science from Stanford University and an MBA from Columbia University. When not at work, Lawrence enjoys running, skiing, playing piano and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
