Gabriel Is a Fearless Challenger

Lead Knowledge Analyst, Stockholm

At BCG, Challengers go against expected thinking and inspire their teams to be truly innovative. Gabriel is unafraid to try new things.

The best part of BCG is its people—teamwork at its best in all projects I've been involved in.

In Gabriel’s Words

I always wanted to work in the crossroads of science and business, and I can't think of a better place than BCG to get these experiences. I keep getting exposure to the most interesting and challenging tasks in the life science and health care industries—and almost always from the high-level strategic perspective. As a part of the BCG Knowledge Team, I work on multiple projects in parallel and have many international interactions daily—often with very senior people in the organization—so that every day is different and exciting.

But what I think makes BCG truly unique is its people. Never have I experienced a place with such a high concentration of smart, fun, and humble people. This is not only a place to work on interesting projects—but also a place to make great friends!

About Gabriel

Gabriel holds a master’s degree in molecular biotechnology engineering as well as a bachelor’s degree in business from Uppsala University and has prior work experience at a large biopharma company.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: The breadth of projects I get to be involved in, and the bird's perspective I get on how things in the world are connected.

Q: How has BCG helped you grow and succeed?

A: I get professional and constructive feedback on every project I'm involved in, and based on this feedback my manager and I set up tailored training plans and exciting goals. There is always something to learn, and I have developed many skills throughout my time at BCG: traditional "hard skills" as well as "soft skills," such as interpersonal interaction, teamwork, and listening skills.

Q: What international experiences at BCG have been the most interesting for you?

A: I worked in BCG's Boston office for 6 months through a BCG working abroad mobility program. It was truly exciting to move to a new city in a new country and get to know new awesome colleagues, and get all the transition support from BCG throughout.
