Anders Fahlander

Anders Fahlander joined The Boston Consulting Group in 1993. He has led the firm’s Industrial Goods practice for the Americas and the global technology sector and was part of BCG’s leadership team for North America. His current focus is on assisting clients with large-scale transformations and change programs, particularly in the automotive and technology sectors. He is an active participant in BCG’s Transformation Initiative.

Anders’s consulting experience covers several industry subsectors, including computing, software, storage, semiconductors, semiconductor equipment, IT services, data and voice networking, automotive, commercial vehicles, and power and power equipment. He is an expert in sales and marketing, change programs, organizational change, and management of people and talent. He also has deep experience in operations—supply chain management, engineering, and manufacturing.

Before BCG, Anders worked six years with IBM—in Tokyo as a financial analyst for the Asia-Pacific region, in Sweden as a marketing representative, and in New York as a marketing consultant at the AS/400 product-management division. He also spent two years in the military, including a year in the Middle East with the United Nations Peacekeeping Forces.
