A core member of The Boston Consulting Group's Consumer and Operations practices, and a member of the Technology, Media, & Telecommunications practice, Ivan Kotov joined the firm in June 2011. He leads the consumer goods and retail sectors in the CIS region, and he is a topic expert in procurement, organization enablers, procurement infrastructure, and support systems.
Ivan has more than 20 years of professional experience, and he brings to his projects a blend of entrepreneurial, industry, and consulting experience in Russia, Europe, and North America. He has led projects in corporate strategy development, restructuring, and operational efficiency for the largest Russian and international companies.
At BCG, Ivan focuses on business unit strategy and transformation across a range of industries—consumer goods, retail, digital, food service, and automotive. He is particularly knowledgeable in the topics of portfolio and growth strategy, postmerger integration, product innovation processes, advertising and sales strategies, pricing and trade-spend effectiveness, and end-to-end supply chain design.
