Taking Action to Bridge the Infrastructure Gap
Jeffrey Chua is a member of the global leadership teams of The Boston Consulting Group’s Industrial Goods and Public Sector practices. He leads the firm’s infrastructure and real estate sectors worldwide and is a member of BCG’s Audit and Risk Committee.
Jeffrey works at the intersection of business strategy and government policy, specifically in the transport and infrastructure sector. His expertise spans asset life cycles and asset types. He works closely with governments, investors, and top management on strategy, economic development, public-private partnerships, and large-program management. Some of his latest efforts concern the future of mobility and its impact on infrastructure planning.
In other recent projects, Jeffrey has helped clients adopt digital technologies to transform their core businesses, create new businesses, and build next-generation leadership capabilities for success in an increasingly competitive environment.
He also works with sovereign wealth funds and principal investors on strategic due diligence, maximization of postdeal value, and operating-model redesign. He has helped governments develop programs to improve productivity in labor-intensive industries like construction.
Before joining BCG in 1999, Jeffrey was a director at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in Singapore and Hong Kong and a design engineer at Sony Corporation in Japan.
