Satoshi Komiya joined The Boston Consulting Group in 1996. He is a core member of the firm’s Industrial Goods practice. Satoshi is an expert in, and Asia-Pacific lead for, BCG’s automotive sector, where his focus is on business strategy. He has expertise in Japanese and non-Japanese companies as well as privately owned companies.

Satoshi’s experience at BCG covers a broad range of projects on formulating business strategy in new and existing areas of the consumer and industrial-goods industries, including luxury goods. He has worked particularly on automobile and auto-parts-distribution strategies and new service-channel projects.

Satoshi joined BCG after holding positions in international procurement at Philips Japan and as the European marketing manager for LaserTech.
