Jason Guggenheim

Recruiting Partner

Jason Guggenheim joined the Boston Consulting Group in 2001 as a consultant after practicing as an attorney for 3 years in Johannesburg, South Africa. Jason studied at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg and received an undergraduate degree in finance and economics and a graduate degree in law from Oliver Schreiner School of Law at the University of the Witwatersrand.

After leaving BCG in 2002, Jason took a strategy/corporate development role in the Ventures group at Delta Air Lines. In 2004, Jason joined a 4 person team, led by the then-CFO of Delta Air Lines, who took on the restructuring of the bankrupt independent energy provider Mirant Corporation.

Following the emergence from bankruptcy of Mirant Corporation, Jason returned to BCG in 2007 to further his interest in strategy, travel and tourism, and turnaround work. Over the past few years, Jason has focused on cruiseline and airline work, serving clients in both the US and Europe.

John Elder

Associate Recruiting Director

John Elder is a consultant based in the Atlanta office. At BCG, John's work has centered on strategy and marketing topics for the Travel and Tourism industry. He has worked on developing and testing new approaches to revenue management, optimizing ancillary products, adapting loyalty program offerings and enhancing sales performance. He also has experience pricing subscription-based commercial services and analyzing internal BCG strategy.

John joined BCG as an associate after two years of teaching middle school math with Teach for America, and returned to the firm after receiving his MBA from The Kellogg School of Management. His undergrad education was in Economics and Philosophy at the University of Alabama.

Erica Suesserman

Recruiting Associate

Erica is the Recruiting Associate for BCG working with undergrads from UNC, Duke , UA, Morehouse, and UGA. Prior to joining BCG, Erica worked with a medical communications company setting up large pharmaceutical events and presentations. She loves traveling, cooking, exercising, and spending time with family and friends. She received her BA in Psychology from Kennesaw Sate University.

Tylon Garrett

School Specialist

Tylon Garrett is an associate based in the BCG Atlanta office. Tylon has gained case experience within organizational design in financial institutions. Before joining BCG, Tylon was employed as an analyst at a boutique consulting firm focused on procurement. He spanned functions including organizational design, spend analytics, data validation, and cost reduction. Tylon primarily served clients in private equity, healthcare insurance, and industrial goods. Tylon has also completed internships ranging from engineering to product management at Caterpillar and Siemens. Tylon received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with dual minors in Business and Economics from Georgia Tech.

Nishi Anand

Women’s Initiative School Specialist

Nishi is an associate in the Atlanta office at BCG. She has worked in operations at a global cosmetics manufacturer. Prior to joining BCG, Nishi interned as a technology consultant at Deloitte Consulting LLP over two summers. As an intern, she was involved in an SAP implementation project at a casual dining company and an IT outsourcing strategy case at a financial institution. Her work ranged across testing, application rationalization, competitive benchmarking, and financial modeling. Nishi holds a B.S. with highest honors in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a minor in Economics from Georgia Institute of Technology. As an undergraduate, Nishi also worked with the CDC to develop statistics-based decision support tools to aid organ transplant decisions.

Application Process

BCG welcomes applications for the associate position from Georgia Tech undergraduate and non-MBA masters students.

Applications for the full time associate position are due September 10, 2016 for candidates graduating in December 2016 through August 2017.

Applications for the 2017 summer associate internship are due December 1, 2016 for candidates graduating in December 2017 through August 2018.
