Recruiting Manager

Samira is the recruiting manager for the Johannesburg office. She joined the BCG in 2015. Before joining BCG, Samira has worked with recruiting top talent in law and investment banking.

Takeshi Oikawa

On Campus Specialist

Takeshi Oikawa, project leader, Johannesburg, first joined The Boston Consulting Group in Tokyo in 2011, and he transferred to the Johannesburg office in 2013. His projects have focused primarily on consumer goods, agriculture and public sector in different parts of Africa. Prior to BCG, Takeshi worked for a Japanese development agency for more than 10 years managing various development projects in East Africa. Takeshi holds a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School with a strong focus on economic development in Africa. In his free time, Takeshi enjoys mountain biking and playing music with his daughter.

Stefano Niavas

Recruiting Partner

Stefano Niavas came to The Boston Consulting Group in 2001 and was based first in the firm’s Paris office and then in its New York office. He is one of the founding members of BCG Johannesburg office and leads the Consumer and Retail practice in Africa for BCG. At BCG, Stefano has worked primarily in consumer goods, focusing on retail, packaged goods, media, and airlines in Western Europe, North America, and Africa.

He is also a member of the firm’s Global Advantage and Marketing, Sales & Pricing practices. Stefano comes from Cote d'Ivoire and enjoys spending time with his family and friends particularly around West African food.

  • Your top three office preferences—please allocate a percentage inclination for each location e.g. if you are indifferent between three offices: 33% Luanda, 33% Boston, 33% London OR strong preference for one office but open to others: 75% Lagos and 25% Tokyo OR only one office option 100% Johannesburg.
