Wolfgang Bock is the global leader of The Boston Consulting Group’s Telecommunications sector; a member of the firm’s Global Advantage practice; and a core member of its People & Organization practice.

Since joining BCG in 2005, Wolfgang has advised telecommunication operators and other TMT players on large-scale change programs, with a focus on growth strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational design.

Wolfgang has authored many articles on the future of converged communications and co-authored a number of public-policy reports. Widely recognized as a subject matter expert, he is frequently quoted in internationally read business publications.

Before joining BCG, Wolfgang was a managing director and senior partner at Mercer Management Consulting where he was the Telecoms and Media practice leader in Central Europe. Before that he worked for Alcatel Telecom in Stuttgart and Brussels, where he held senior management positions and managed large restructuring and business redesign projects.
