Áki Hardarson joined The Boston Consulting Group in 2005 and is a core member of the firm’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practice.

Áki Hardarson is one of the company’s leading experts and thought leaders in the media industry. He has been advising clients across media sectors on their strategy and digital transformation for the past decade. One of Áki’s main focus areas is the online video space, having deep expertise in both pay and advertising monetization models. He works with media companies, telecommunication providers, and technology firms across the globe in setting their strategic agenda in digital media, transforming organizations, and bringing services to market. Áki is based in The Boston Consulting Group’s Munich office.

Prior to working at BCG, Áki was a marketing director for a technology firm where he managed international marketing efforts and business development.
