Senior Economic Advisor
Prior to joining The Boston Consulting Group's Center for Macroeconomics, Kathleen Stephansen, worked as a chief economist at American International Group (AIG) and as AIG Asset Management’s senior investment strategist and global head of sovereign research.
She also worked as chief economist at Aladdin Capital Holdings, as Credit Suisse’s head of global economic research, and as co-head of fixed income economic research and as chief international economist at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette Securities Corporation.
From 2009 to 2010, Kathleen served as senior advisor and task force member for the Asia Society; she was a member of the Council on Foreign Relations advisory committee on the Reform of the International Monetary Fund in 2007.
Kathleen currently serves on the boards of the Global Interdependence Center, the National Association for Business Economics (NABE), and Economists for Peace and Security (EPS).
