Dan Bodley

Project Leader, Toronto Associate Recruiting Director

Dan is the current Associate Recruiting Director for the Toronto Office and an active member of BCG's consumer practice area. During his time at BCG he has worked in five countries, including a one year in the Tokyo office. His focus has been in new business development, growth strategy, and the impact of digital technologies on the consumer industry. Prior to BCG, Dan was active in the e-commerce space, completing an internship with e-commerce Retailer Rakuten. Dan received his MBA from Harvard Business School where he graduated as a Baker’s Scholar. He also earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biochemical Engineering from Queen’s University. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, live theater, basketball and working on his Japanese language skills.

Danielle Amirault

Consultant, Queen's Commerce Captain

Danielle Amirault joined BCG's Toronto office as an Associate in September 2014 after completing a summer internship in 2013. She has spent time in the Consumer/Retail, Financial Services, and Industrial Goods practices. She has had multiple experiences on purchasing-related cases, for both a retailer and a consumer goods organization. Danielle graduated from Queen's University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2014. Prior to her summer at BCG, Danielle completed two internships with State Street Corporation in their Alternative Investment Services and Derivatives groups.

Carsten Schaltz

Associate, Queen's Engineering Captain

Carsten Schaltz joined The Boston Consulting Group's Toronto office as an Associate in January 2015. Recently, Carsten has done work in the financial services, telecommunications, and insurance industries. Prior to joining BCG, Carsten worked at EllisDon as both a project coordinator and junior field engineer. He also previously held positions as a Leadership Trainer and Tripper at Camp Queen Elizabeth. Carsten holds a Bachelor of Science & Engineering from Queen's University graduating with a Dean's Scholar distinction. In his spare time, Carsten enjoys outdoor activities and various sports.

Carmen Rendall

Recruiting Coordinator

Carmen recently joined BCG in 2016 as a Recruiting Coordinator, and looks after Associate hiring from our core local campuses. Prior to working for BCG, Carmen worked in the legal industry and was most recently responsible for the management and coordination of campus recruiting and student programming at McMillan LLP. She graduated with Honours from the Law Clerk program at Humber College and began her career specializing in litigation and general corporate/commercial law as a law clerk. In her spare time, Carmen enjoys golfing, cooking and spending time at the cottage.

Jason Vickers

Principal, Toronto Consultant Recruiting Director

Jason Vickers is a Principal & Consultant Recruiting Director in BCG’s Toronto office. He first joined the firm as a Summer Consultant in 2011, and returned full-time in 2012.
He primarily works with clients in the Media, Telecommunications, and Consumer Goods sectors.  His project work has been focused on Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, M&A, Value Creation Programs, as well as various Organization topics.  Prior to BCG Jason worked at another consulting firm.
Jason earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, where he graduated with distinction. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University, where he graduated with First Class Honours, and competed as a member of the Varsity Golf Team.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and 1-year old son, golfing, skiing, and following the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Souvik Adhya

Consultant, Queen's MBA Lead

Souvik Adhya is a Consultant in the Calgary office of The Boston Consulting Group. Prior to joining BCG, Souvik worked in the energy industry across 4 continents and 12 countries with Schlumberger Limited. In his most recent role in South and East Africa, he spearheaded the development and deployment of a new management systems to help improve service quality performance. His other roles covered Business Strategy, Operations Management and Field Engineering over a span of 7 years. Souvik is professionally trained in Change Management and Lean methodologies in Operations Management. Souvik is a MBA graduate with specialization in Finance and class valedictorian from the Queen’s School of Business in Canada, prior to which he completed his undergraduate degree in Instrumentation Engineering from I.I.T. Kharagpur in India. Outside of work, Souvik is passionate about soccer and commercial aviation. He is a keen travel enthusiast and together with his partner has travelled 41 countries across the globe to date.

Lawrence Kuo

Recruiting Partner

Lawrence Kuo is a Partner in BCG’s Toronto office. He joined the firm as an Associate in 1999 after working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at a startup in the Silicon Valley. Since joining BCG, Lawrence has developed strategies to enhance growth, drive operational efficiency and restructure organizations. He has also managed client relationships across telecom, media, consumer goods and pharmaceuticals. In 2007, Lawrence left BCG and joined Rogers Communications. Lawrence first joined the strategy group at Rogers as the Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Planning. In this role, he worked to develop and implement key strategic initiatives across the Wireless, Cable and Media companies. Lawrence subsequently held the position of Vice President, Video Product Management where he was responsible for delivering $1.9B in video revenue. After spending almost 6 years with Rogers, Lawrence returned to BCG as a Principal in 2013. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Queen’s University, a Master of Science from Stanford University and an MBA from Columbia University. When not at work, Lawrence enjoys running, skiing, playing piano and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
