Hermann Riedl is a core member of The Boston Consulting Group’s People & Organization and Technology, Media & Telecommunications practices.
Since rejoining BCG in 2008, Hermann has worked extensively with technology, media, and telecommunications clients in southeastern Europe and the Middle East. His experience has covered the development of retention and loyalty strategies, the development of international wholesale strategies and operating models, integrating fixed and mobile businesses, and creating portfolio strategies.
Hermann has also supported a wide range of clients on human resources transformation, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and large-scale change programs.
Hermann initially joined BCG in 1998 before moving on in 2004 to become chief sales and marketing officer of alternative fixed-line operator TELE2 Germany. He became CEO of TELE2 in 2008 and helped the business expand to serve more than 2.5 million contract customers, representing a 7 percent market share in Germany.
