Global Sourcing in the Postdownturn Era

A recent BCG survey concludes that global sourcing is here to stay, but the focus has moved away from labor cost savings alone to total cost or “best cost” country sourcing (BCCS). A networked model of supply hubs in different regions can lower costs and help penetrate fast-growing emerging markets.
