Meet Our Team
    • Paul Linton
    • Recruiting Partner
    • Paul joined BCG in 2000. He received his MBA with distinction from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business and earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida. At BCG, he has spent the majority of his time working with retail and consumer goods clients. Prior to joining BCG, he spent 5 years with Motorola, Inc. where he developed PC microprocessors and designed and deployed wireless communications systems.

    • Kelly joined BCG in 2005. Prior to joining the recruiting team, she was a Project Leader in BCG’s Washington, D.C. office. She received her MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia. Prior to joining BCG, she worked at American Express and Deloitte.
    • Lauren Greenlief
    • School Specialist, Associate
    • Since joining BCG's Washington, D.C. office in 2012, Lauren has worked primarily with retail and social impact clients. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in Mathematics and Economics as well as a MS in Commerce with a concentration in Financial Services. Lauren was also a member of the Women's Golf Team while at UVA. Prior to joining BCG, she interned at F.I. Consulting in Arlington, Virginia.

    • Branden Wang
    • School Specialist, Associate
    • Branden has worked primarily with technology, media, and telecom clients since joining BCG in 2012. He graduated from University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce with a BS in Commerce with concentrations in Finance and IT, as well as a second major in Economics. Prior to joining BCG, he interned in the Strategy division of CarMax.

    • LGBT School Captain, Consultant
    • Sean joined BCG's Washington, D.C. office in 2012. He received his MBA from the Darden School of Business and his B.S. in Hospitality Administration from Cornell University. Prior to joining BCG, he worked for the Brookings Institution in a fundraising role.
    • John Burt
    • Recruiting Director, Black and Latino Initiative
    • John Burt is responsible for Associate and Consultant diversity recruiting efforts across BCG’s North America region. Before joining BCG, he co-founded MBA JumpStart, a career-advisory and consulting firm, and at Eli Lilly went from Financial Analyst to CFO of a $2 billion U.S. business unit. He also worked as a Consultant at Hewlett Packard and at Booz Allen Hamilton. He holds a BS in Finance from Indiana University and an MBA from Duke University.
    • Susan Hazard
    • Women's Initiative Captain
    • Susan joined BCG as a Consultant in 2008 and was promoted to Project Leader in 2010.  While at BCG, Susan has worked primarily in the Health Care and Financial Services sector. Prior to BCG, Susan worked for six years at Northern Trust Company as an Investment Risk Consultant and as a Business Analyst.  At Northern Trust company, Susan was promoted to 2nd Vice President and earned the CFA charter. Susan has also worked with the Chicago Public Schools and helped found a charter high school in Chicago. Susan holds a Master of Business Administration with honors from Duke University with a certification in Health Sector Management. She graduated summa cum laude from Valparaiso University where she received a bachelor's degree in Decision Sciences.

We will be accepting applications for Summer Associate positions through Tuesday, January 14th at 11:59pm.  You must apply using both our UVA online application and CavLink.

As a reminder, the following information is required in order to apply:

  • Resume
  • Cover letter
  • Unofficial copy of your undergraduate transcript
  • Standardized test scores (SAT math/verbal or ACT)
  • Top three offices in which you would like to work
