FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For

Fortune 100 - 2015For the fifth year in a row, BCG has been ranked in the top five of Fortune's "100 Best Companies to Work For," placing second overall on the 2015 list, up from third in 2014. By a wide margin, BCG ranked the highest among consultancies making the list in 2015. BCG is one of only two companies to rank among the top dozen companies overall every year since 2006. MORE

Consulting Magazine’s Best Firm to Work For 
Consulting Mag 2014BCG was ranked number one on Consulting magazine’s 2014 “Best Firms to Work For” list. In earning the top spot in the survey, BCG performed strongly across all six facets of employee satisfaction that were measured: firm culture, career development, compensation and benefits, client engagement, firm leadership, and work-life balance.

Consulting’s poll drew detailed employee-engagement insights from more than 10,000 consultants, representing more than 360 consulting firms. The survey findings appeared in the magazine’s September issue.

Working Mother 100 Best Companies

Working Mother 2014Working Mother magazine named BCG one of its “100 Best Companies” for parents in the United States for the seventh time in 2014. BCG offers a wide range of family-friendly benefits, such as flex-time, part-time opportunities, telecommuting, generous parental leave, and backup childcare assistance. In addition, our global Women's Initiative provides a foundation of support and guidance to help women build successful careers.

Universum Most Attractive Employers

Universum, an employer branding company, has ranked BCG number 13 on its list of the world's Most Attractive Employers for business students in 2014. The ranking reflects a survey of more than 110,000 business students at top academic institutions; the students were asked to chose their ideal companies to work for.

Human Rights Campaign Award for Workplace Equality Innovation
HRC Best Places to WorkFor the eighth year in a row, the Human Rights Campaign has given BCG a perfect score of 100 percent on its Corporate Equality Index. The HRC recognizes workplace equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees, and BCG's consistent placement on its "Best Places to Work" list is a tribute to our diversity-friendly policies and culture.
Achievement Award for Excellence in Social & Community Investment

With this 2014 honor, Consulting magazine has recognized BCG's years of work on Save the Children's global strategy and transformation. The impact has been significant, as Save the Children is now a truly globally integrated organization, equipped to serve the needs of the most vulnerable, hardest-to-reach children in the world in the most effective way possible. 

More than 350 BCGers, past and present, have contributed directly to our work with Save the Children.

Vault Top 50 Consulting Firms
The careers website has ranked BCG the Number 3 consulting firm among potential employees for 2013. Vault's survey of consultants looked at factors such as firm prestige, employee satisfaction, firm culture, compensation, and work-life balance. BCG ranked Number 2 overall in the areas of prestige, benefits, and compensation. In addition, Vault named BCG's internship program one of its "Top 10 Internships" in 2011.
Glassdoor Best Place to Work
GlassdoorBCG has been recognized as a Best Place to Work for 2015, earning a Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award. This award relies solely on the input of employees, who rate their satisfaction with the company overall and key workplace factors like career opportunities, compensation and benefits, work-life balance, senior management, and culture and values.
Lifetime Achievement Award

SandyIn 2010, Sandy Moose, a senior advisor of BCG and former senior partner, received Consulting magazine's Lifetime Achievement award. Sandy has been a true trailblazer and leader on many fronts, including leading BCG's New York office from 1988-1998, serving as chair of the east coast region from 1994 to 1998, and founding and later leading BCG's global Women's Initiative.

Duck_Jeanie_thumb_smFormer BCG senior partner Jeanie Duck received Consulting magazine's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008 in recognition of her exceptional client impact. "Jeanie Duck is a pioneer who practically invented the discipline of change management," says Joe Kornik, editor-in-chief of Consulting magazine.

Most Influential Consultants

Since the inception of Consulting magazine's Top 25 Most Influential Consultants list in 2000, no fewer than 16 BCG partners have been recognized. Below is a sample of four BCG partners to have won this award or view the full list of individual honors.

MeiPochtler_antonella_thumb_smDr. Antonella Mei-Pochtler was included in Consulting magazine's list of the Top 25 Most Influential Consultants in 2008. Antonella joined BCG in 1984 and is currently a senior partner in our Vienna office.  “The breadth of knowledge, experience and skills you gain at BCG provides you with a springboard to excel in any field within BCG or beyond.” says Antonella who heads European marketing and is a member of BCG's Executive Committee.

marcil_sharon_thumb_smSharon Marcil, a senior partner in Washington DC, was included in Consulting magazine's list of the Top 25 Most Influential Consultants in 2008. In the same year, Sharon also won the magazine's Client Service Award. Sharon is the regional head of the firm's Consumer Practice and leads the Americas Women's Initiative.

Tsusaka_Miki_thumb_smMiki Tsusaka was included in Consulting magazine's Top 25 Most Influential Consultants list in 2005. Miki is  senior partner in Tokyo and former partner in our New York office. Miki leads BCG’s global Marketing & Sales Practice and is known for her pioneering M&A work. “BCG has continuously stretched me—even now, there are always new challenges,” says Miki who also leads the Asia-Pacific Women's Initiative.

Duck_Jeanie_thumb_smJeanie Duck, a former senior partner at BCG was included in the Top 25 Most Influential Consultants list in 2002. She was recognized as an expert on change management both within BCG and beyond, and was an active contributor to the global Organization Practice.
