Andrew Taylor is a core member of the Operations, Strategy, and Industrial Goods practices; he is also a member of the Corporate Development practice at The Boston Consulting Group. He leads BCG’s global work in innovation strategy and leads the firm’s chemicals work in North America.

Since joining BCG in 1997, he has acquired deep experience advising clients across a range of industries on innovation-related issues and he has worked with leading global chemicals companies on strategic and operational improvement issues.

Andrew is coauthor of the firm’s multiyear Most Innovative Companies study, which tracks key innovation trends and explores the factors that drive the success of leading global innovators. He is also the creator of the Global Innovation Index, a ranking of the most innovative countries and an assessment of the key success factors that drive their performance.

Prior to joining BCG, Andrew worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and at Bain Capital.
