Rankings on the 50 Best Workplaces for Diversity list are based on two criteria. The first was employees’ answers to Great Place to Work's survey questionnaire, which addressed issues such as how comfortable they are being themselves, whether they feel honest connections with coworkers, and how much access they have to senior leadership. The second criteria was representation of women and minorities in management and executive positions.
