Hans Kuipers

Hans Kuipers is a core member of the Strategy practice of The Boston Consulting Group and leads the firm's Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice in Africa. He is also a member of BCG’s global leadership team for Social Impact.

Since joining BCG in 2011, Hans’ work has focused on helping clients in the telecommunications and private equity sectors. During his career he has acquired deep experience in consumer goods, health care, technology, and media.

Hans' philosophy is, "Hope is not a strategy. Don’t hope for things to get better. Develop a strategy and implement. Every strategy is a combination of intent and execution. As a good strategy consultant, I help my clients with both."

Prior to joining BCG, he was a partner with Accenture.
