Adrian Mitchell brings over 20 years of management consulting and operating executive experience to his work at The Boston Consulting Group. Adrian is a leader in BCG’s Consumer practice, focusing on the retail sector, and works with CEOs and senior executives on the key challenges facing their organizations.

Adrian has proven leadership, problem-solving, and operational skills across a range of consumer and service-oriented businesses. He is focused on creating vision and strategy, building consensus, enhancing cultures, and delivering sustainable, customer-driven transformational changes for complex organizations. Adrian has been energetic in pursuing his clients’ top-line sales and bottom-line profitability through business and operational strategies grounded in consumer insights.

Prior to joining BCG, Adrian spent over ten years serving in a variety of operating executive roles, including CEO of private-equity invested luxury home furnishings retailer Arhaus, Interim CEO, COO, and CFO at global home furnishings retailer Crate and Barrel, and Board Director for the retailer and outdoor services company REI. He also held several roles in the brick and mortar and dot-com organizations for mass-merchant retailer Target Corporation. Before that, Adrian spent nine years as a consultant primarily focused on large-scale transformational programs for leading retail and services companies.
