Alexander Leshchiner is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Energy practice and has deep experience in upstream and downstream oil, liquid natural gas, and shale. 

Alexander works closely with clients on strategy, large capital project management, operations, and digital. He has worked on assignments for multiple vertically integrated oil companies (VIOCs) across Russia, Kazakhstan, Australia, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. 

During his time at BCG, Alexander has led several large transformation programs for oil and gas industry major players, including organizational, digital, and IPO related cases, and redefinition of oil and gas industry management frameworks. 

Before joining BCG in January 2007 as a consultant, Alexander worked as an equity market analyst, and was a graduate research assistant at the University of Texas at Austin, Center for Nonlinear Dynamics.
