Amarendran Subramanian is core member of Boston Consulting Group’s worldwide Technology Advantage, Consumer Goods, and Financial Institutions practices. Within the firm’s Digital Acceleration System, Amar focuses on working with clients on digital customer journeys, advanced analytics and AI, data and digital platforms, agile at scale, and next generation technology function.

In his recent client work, Amar developed, designed, and launched a digital transformation of a large global furniture retailer, pivoting the whole technology operating model to agile; and initiated a digital technology capabilities program for a German bank, among many other projects.

Prior to joining the firm, Amar worked for over ten years as an IT developer, architect, and technology manager for scaled e-commerce solutions, pioneering some of the very first e-commerce solutions in the European market in the 1990's and early 2000's.
