Andrew Agerbak on Building Technology Capabilities for the Digital Age

BCG uses the IT Capability Maturity Framework to deliver both benchmarking and a toolkit to bring science and data to the art of transforming IT capabilities, explains Andrew Agerbak, a BCG director. Because more than 400 organizations have been assessed using the framework by the industry forum Innovation Value Institute, it provides a rich database enabling companies to compare their position against those of equivalent organizations in the same industry or region.

Andrew Agerbak is a core member of the Technology Advantage and Financial Institutions practices at The Boston Consulting Group. He leads BCG's global work as a steering patron of the Innovation Value Institute (IVI), an open innovation community developing and promoting the IT Capability Maturity Framework (IT-CMF) for IT value management.

Since joining BCG in 2000, Andrew’s client work has focused on major change programs and technology challenges in the telecommunications, media, and financial services sectors.

Prior to joining BCG, he was a practice leader at Computacenter.
