Ankur Desai is a core member of BCG GAMMA, Boston Consulting Group’s advanced analytics and data science consulting practice. He joined the firm in 2018. Ankur's current focus is on creating and implementing data-analytics-driven personalization programs and marketing campaigns in the consumer and retail sector. 

Ankur has worked with clients on personalization and customer segmentation strategies in the retail sector, including luxury apparel, convenience and drug store, and multi-category. These engagements include data analysis and modeling, in-market pilots, customer clustering and segmentation, and other topics. He has also worked with wireless providers, cable providers, and other telecoms.

Ankur serves on the Analytics Advisory Board for the Simon Business School’s career center and mentors students at Columbia University and the University of Rochester.
