Benedek Vasy leads The Boston Consulting Group’s Retail Banking Excellence (REBEX) initiative globally. REBEX is BCG's end-to-end benchmark for retail banking.

Benedek joined BCG in 1994 and his consulting project experience includes organic and inorganic revenue growth programs in retail banking, with a focus on initiatives such as overall strategy, customer value proposition, customer segmentation, segment-specific growth initiatives, channel specific growth initiatives (digital and ATMs), pricing, sales force effectiveness, customer relationship management (CRM), and customer experience. He has also worked on process efficiency, organizational effectiveness, and IT capabilities projects.

Benedek also enriched his retail banking expertise by working on the client side for over 10 years. He worked as a marketing director for mass markets at Santander Spain (Banesto), and held a variety of different roles at Barclays European Retail Banking, including chief of staff to the CEO of Spain, director of customer advocacy, regional marketing director, and regional product director of liabilities.

He is fluent in English, Spanish, German, and Hungarian.
