Bernard Lequiller is a core member of The Boston Consulting Group’s Financial Institutions and Transformation practices. He leads the development of BCG’s methodology in banking transformation.

With more than 25 years of experience as a consultant in the banking industry, Bernard has driven major transformation programs for some of the world’s largest institutions. His client engagements have covered corporate and investment banking, retail banking, asset management, business development, crisis management, and M&A.

Over the course of his career, Bernard has led the restructuring of several large universal banks, and he has helped multiple institutions reduce their organizational complexity and transform their IT functions. In addition, he has headed up a number of transformative postmerger integrations in the banking industry, and he also has deep experience in the energy and retail industries across Europe, the US, and Asia.

Before joining BCG, Bernard was a director at Bain & Co., where he was in charge of major transformation programs worldwide. He was previously a partner at A.T. Kearney and Arthur Andersen.
