Chris Bower joined Boston Consulting Group in 2014. He is a member of the Industrial Goods and Consumer practices with a focus on retail. Chris has extensive experience in support functions, as well as pricing and promotions, category strategy, marketing, and customer analytics.
Chris is an expert in digital support functions and service operations as part of large-scale transformations. Among his many client projects, Chris led the transformation of the HR and shared services function of a mining company, redesigned the go-to-market and pricing model for an electronics distributor, and designed and piloted a new loyalty-based pricing system for a construction materials distributor.
Prior to joining BCG, Chris held senior strategy and support function roles at several large department stores in Australia and Canada. He also spent three years running a health foods company.
