Christian Diez is a core member of The Boston Consulting Group’s Financial Institutions practice.
Over the course of his career, Christian has led numerous strategy, digital, and transformation projects for retail and commercial banks as well as asset-management businesses. His client work includes enabling the transformation of a 3,000-branch network through digital, customer behavior, and technological trends, defining the strategic vision for a large universal bank, and defining the new IT model for a leading international bank.
Christian has also helped institutions with the process of postmerger integration and with the definition of their payments strategies. In addition, he has extensive experience in customer value propositions and organization design.
Christian first joined BCG in 2006 and then moved on to Santander US, where he worked in the office of the president and CEO and then as a vice president in the retail business. He rejoined BCG in 2015.
