Chris Millican is a core member of the Energy practice at The Boston Consulting Group. He leads the firm’s energy trading and risk management topics in the Americas.

Since joining BCG in 2003, Chris has advised clients on a broad range of issues, with emphasis on strategy and development of organizational capability. He has extensive project experience working with utilities, independent power producers, and competitive power retailers. He also has experience working across renewable technologies, including solar, geothermal, and wind.

His primary focus is on transformative change in the utility space, where he has helped clients manage costs and drive growth while building capabilities to win in a rapidly changing sector.

Before joining BCG, Chris was a bankruptcy and turnaround consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
