Cliff Drescher leads The Boston Consulting Group’s global work on postmerger integration in the retail industry and is a member of the firm’s Consumer practice.

Since joining BCG in 2006, Cliff has worked with numerous companies across the consumer industry, focusing particularly on the retail, restaurant, and hospitality sectors. His experience includes engagements centered on marketing and sales, mergers and acquisitions, program-management office process, loyalty, investment thesis, due diligence, and consumer insights.

Cliff has also advised clients in a range of sectors on brand positioning, cost of goods and services, retail footprint optimization, indirect cost savings, and strategic sourcing. In addition, he has worked on engagements related to private-equity investment strategy, strategic benchmarking, sales and marketing strategies, and growth strategies.

Before BCG, Cliff spent three years in the aerospace industry at Honeywell Aerospace as a manufacturing engineer and product line business manager for the company's airline and avionics products.
