Colm Foley, is Boston Consulting Group’s most tenured leader in the medical technology sector in North America. Colm led BCG’s Health Care practice in North America from 2014 to 2018 and the medical technology sector globally for three years prior to that. His passion is helping medical technology executives grow their businesses in a cost effective way.

Since joining BCG in 1999, Colm has developed deep expertise in commercial excellence, new product development and launch, marketing, pricing, and other topics critical to delivering breakout growth. He has helped health care companies adopt more efficient and effective operating models, and evaluate and integrate synergistic acquisitions, as well as transform into digital-native organizations, and chart total shareholder value plans (aligning business, financial, and investor strategies). Though his experience is rooted in the medical technology sector, it includes all aspects of the health care sector, as well as the consumer and industrial sectors.

Before joining BCG, he spent nearly a decade as a technical architect, building leading-edge software for major corporations.
