Daniel Alanis joined The Boston Consulting Group in Mexico in 2002 and is a core member of the Consumer Goods, Industrial Goods, and Health Care practice areas. He works extensively on marketing and sales, operations, strategy, and global advantage topics for clients in Mexico, Latin America, the US, and Europe. He leads the Health Care practice and co-leads the Consumer Goods practice in Mexico.

In the past decade, Daniel has advised leading companies in the food and beverage industry across multiple categories, fashion retail, biopharma manufacturers, and automotive OEMs, as well as Tier 1 suppliers and distributors. He is experienced in growth strategies, revenue management, operations and distribution–direct store delivery—optimization, and cross-border M&A and post-merger integration. Daniel is also an expert on trade and tariffs in the NAFTA region.

Before he joined the firm, Daniel worked at DaimlerChrysler in Michigan in new product development and manufacturing planning. He’s a graduate of the DaimlerChrysler Institute of Engineering.
