Daniel Weise joined Boston Consulting Group in November 2003. He is the global leader of BCG’s procurement topic and a core group member of the firm’s Industrial Goods and Operations practices.

Daniel is also a leadership member of BCG's Operations practice area in Central Europe, Middle East, and Africa and the regional topic leader for procurement. He hosts BCG's annual Procurement Roundtable event in Europe.

Daniel has worked extensively in various industries, mostly on overall company transformations, restructurings, and procurement programs. His procurement expertise comprises category optimizations, reorganization of purchasing functions, operating-model redesigns, and supplier collaboration programs. In these contexts, Daniel also has experience as a chief purchasing officer.

Daniel’s internships with Airbus Industrie, Volkswagen, and Mercedes-Benz before joining BCG helped prepare him to work with the firm’s industry-leading clients in transformation, optimization, and postmerger integration.

Daniel is an integral part of the firm's Operations Center in Düsseldorf, one of ten global operations centers that serve as hubs for comprehensive operations support and offer tailored, fully integrated solutions to optimize operations for long-term success.
