Associate Director, DigitalBCG
London
Danish Aziz has deep experience in digital and agile transformations, in a career spanning industries including banking, insurance, and retail/consumer goods. He is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Technology Advantage and DigitalBCG practice areas, where he helps clients with topics such as product design, prototyping, launching digital businesses, and large scale transformations.
Danish draws experience from a number of markets and client contexts—from inception of early experiments to operating model transformations—as an executive coach and advisor to clients looking to implement relevant ways of working in their core business. Examples of his work include building a digital wholesale credit application for a Swedish banking client, helping a Portuguese and South African insurance client launch new B2C and B2B apps, and supporting agile transformations for a consumer goods company in the Netherlands as well as an investment bank in the US. He has also advised on digital strategy assignments in retail for clients in Sweden and Japan.
Prior to joining BCG, Danish worked for four years at McKinsey Digital Labs. Earlier in his career he worked in a variety of functions at Thomson Reuters, Google, Huawei Technologies, and Citigroup.
The Dutch beverage conglomerate began its agile transformation in the IT department, where leadership worked hand-in-hand with other departments as well as with outside suppliers and the company’s employee work council.
