David Hofman joined Boston Consulting Group in 2010. He is a core member of consumer goods practice in Greater China and specializes in projects in the fields of retail, energy, and media, and he has worked with clients in the airline, manufacturing, and financial institutions industries.

In the energy sector, David has worked with gas storage companies and on energy sales and distribution, led the renewable energy investment strategy for a major utility, directed the commercial due diligence of natural gas storage acquisition, and worked on cost and commercial restructuring for a lignite mine and power plant complex in Central and Eastern Europe.

In the retail sector, David has worked with clients on the cost of goods sold and on a category reset program for a top global retailer. He has also worked extensively with FMCG retailers, helping to set up data modeling and other functions.

Before joining the BCG, David worked at A.T. Kearney in Prague in the areas of energy and utilities management.
