Dieter Heuskel joined The Boston Consulting Group in 1980, cofounding the firm’s Düsseldorf office in 1982. From 1995 to 1997, he was global leader of BCG’s Strategy Practice Initiative. From 1998 to 2011, Dieter was a member of the firm’s worldwide Executive Committee, and he was head of the German management team from 1998 to 2006. In 2007, he became chairman of BCG Germany.
Dieter has led strategy and portfolio development for top diversified conglomerates and supported corporatewide change processes (reengineering, increased revenues, and cultural change). He has also worked with teams on conceptualizing and introducing approaches to customer-specific (shareholder) value.
Dieter has many years’ experience and a special interest in supporting and coaching family-owned companies.
Before joining BCG, Dieter worked on industrial and development projects in West Africa.
