Dmitry Garanin joined Boston Consulting Group in 2019. He is a member of the Industrial Goods and Public Sector practice areas and specializes in infrastructure, cities, and transportation. Dmitry’s focus is on transformations and investment projects. He is the CIS node for the Public Sector practice and leads the firm’s work in infrastructure, real estate, construction, cities, and transportation in Russia.

In his recent client work, Dmitry has defined the portfolio, corporate, and business unit strategies for over 50 businesses; developed construction industry standards for post-COVID operations; transformed the construction function of a major city; and built several owner's functions and in-house construction companies for large industrial holdings.

Before coming to BCG, Dmitry was an angel investor and an independent consultant, and before that, he was a partner at McKinsey & Company, where he led the Strategy & Corporate Finance practice in Russia.
