Eriola Shehu Beetz is a core member of the Financial Institutions practice area at The Boston Consulting Group, focusing on wholesale banking and capital markets. Eri has led multiple projects for global banks that have covered strategic reviews, mergers and acquisitions, strategic cost reductions, digital transformation in CIBs, benchmarking, and go-to-market strategy.

In recent client work, Eri led a strategic review of the markets division of a global bank, including addressing how digital trends are affecting each asset class, and led a confidential assessment of a potential merger between two global asset managers. She also led the strategic cost reduction of a CIB division of a universal global bank, including coverage, markets, and transaction banking divisions—a two-year program that resulted in $1.1 billion in savings for the bank.
