Frank Lesmeister came to Boston Consulting Group in 2006. He is a topic expert in manufacturing, quality management, and lean enablement, as well as an integral part of the CEMA (Central Europe, Middle East, and Africa) Operations Center.

Frank has helped guide numerous BCG clients worldwide toward lean manufacturing, manufacturing-network design, and quality management, in industries as varied as automotive, chemicals, consumer electronics, medical technology, and pharmaceuticals.

Frank has written or cowritten articles for journals such as Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Industrial Management. He has also coauthored several major reports for BCG. Before joining the firm, Frank was head of R&D at Plato, a software company, and worked as a consultant with a main focus on restructuring in manufacturing companies.

Frank is an integral part of the firm's Operations Center in Düsseldorf, one of ten global operations centers that serve as hubs for comprehensive operations support and offer tailored, fully integrated solutions to optimize operations for long-term success.
