Guillaume de Montchalin is a core member of The Boston Consulting Group’s Consumer and Marketing, Sales & Pricing practices. He has, throughout his career at BCG, worked in multiple countries in Europe, Africa, Asia, and North and South America, and he worked in BCG’s Boston office from 2012 to 2014.
Since joining BCG in 2009, Guillaume has focused primarily on the retail, consumer goods, and luxury industries. His recent experience in these fields has included developing and implementing an e-commerce strategy for a leading luxury fashion house; defining a new hypermarket commercial model for a major global retailer; supporting an office-supplies retailer in its annual negotiation effort; helping a major European energy provider build a new business based on connected objects; and assisting a retailer define its hypermarket promotional strategy and improve its processes.
Prior to joining BCG, Guillaume worked as a trainee at the Inspection Générale des Finances (French Ministry of Finance) and in the strategic marketing departments of Pixmania and Lagardère Active Digital.
