Henrik Ljungberg joined The Boston Consulting Group in 2012. He is a core member of the Corporate Development practice. Henrik has more than 17 years experience providing strategic and transaction advice to clients based in London, New York, and Stockholm. Henrik is a topic expert for Central Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in corporate banking subjects including CEO topics, client segments, product lines, and benchmarking.

Henrik’s client work for BCG is focused on the financial industry and financial products, specifically financial services groups, strategy and corporate development, and the public sector.

Before joining BCG, Henrik was a managing director at Rothschild, where he gained extensive advisory, transaction, and capital markets experience in the origination and execution of transactions for clients in the Nordic region, Europe, the US, and Asia.

Henrik has significant public service experience. He has worked with a number of European governments on the effects of the financial crisis, and he has provided advice on responses to new challenges facing sovereigns as well as corporate banks.
