Hirofumi Gomi joined Boston Consulting Group in February 2015 as a senior advisor.

Prior to joining BCG, Hirofumi served as Commissioner at Japan’s Financial Services Agency from 2004 to 2007. He joined the Ministry of Finance (MOF) after graduation and led the establishment of the Financial Supervisory Agency. He also held prominent positions such as Director General of the Inspection Bureau and Director General of the Supervisory Bureau at the Financial Services Agency before accepting the role of advisor at Nishimura & Asahi and serving as Chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers Research Institute.
